Jolida believes that sound can have a great impact on the life of an individual. Sound has the capacity to inspire, stir emotion, and create empathy. It encompasses the whole range of human emotions and transcends age, color, race, culture, and walk of life, and goes right to the heart of our humanness. The ability to create emotion is the province of the artist. Jolida's task is to provide the electronic means by which this artistry can be communicated as the artist intended, hence we are a communication company, not the communication.  Jolida's mission is to design, develop, manufacture, and distribute quality sound units at a cost-effective price.

JoLida is a privately held company that was incorporated in the state of Maryland in 1983. Until 1995, JoLida’s primary line of business was the fabrication of vacuum tubes, cavities, and assorted electronic parts. In 1995, JoLida launched a line of Integrated Stereo Tube Amplifiers in the US market.
